Thanks to a roadmap from miHoYo, some of the content coming to Patch 1.1 of Genshin Impact is already known. Most of the confirmed updates are quality-of-life improvements like a sorting function for Artifacts and icons that let players know which characters are equipped with which weapons. Unconfirmed leaks also point toward a private messaging system, as well as a function that allows players to known what friends are online.
It\’s not just quality-of-life changes like Artifact sorting and Resin overhauls that are coming to Genshin Impact soon. A new confirmed character, Dainsleif, was shared by miHoYo on Twitter, but the other characters are unconfirmed and from various leaks. Characters like Childe and Zhongli already exist in Genshin Impact, and the latest leaks point to them being playable characters in Patch 1.1.
New leaked characters include Xinyan, who is pictured holding a musical instrument and being surrounded by fire. Another leaked character is Diona, a tiny Cyro user with pink hair. A brand-new Genshin Impact character is also rumored to be obtained after reaching Adventurer Rank 42. This character, who doesn\’t have an English name yet, is a female fighter from the long-rumored (and Japanese-inspired) city of Inazuma. Again, these characters are all from leaks and have yet to be officially confirmed.
It\’s unclear how these new characters will rank on Genshin Impact\’s tier list, but most of them will likely be 5-star characters with low drop rates. As for the other quality-of-life and content leaks that haven\’t been confirmed yet, these improvements make a lot of sense. It\’s something fans of Genshin Impact have been asking for, so they seem increasingly likely.
