Genshin Impact 2.6 Achievements Leak Reveals Chasm Challenges

Leaked Achievements for Genshin Impact\’s 2.6 update reveals challenges attached to the new Chasm locale. Developer HoYoverse (formerly known as miHoYo) finally confirmed the explorable Chasm area for Genshin Impact last month during the Special Program for Version 2.5. While the studio only shared cursory details and a few pieces of concept art, dataminers have apparently unearthed even more about what the Chasm will have on offer once 2.6 drops.

A Version 2.5 beta leak, for example, showcased a top-down map of the area, complete with icons for various points of interest. Another leak later revealed Genshin Impact\’s Chasm as a multi-part location that HoYoverse divided into explorable above-ground and underground sections. Reportedly, the above-ground space plays host to areas such as the Dunyu Ruins, Fuao Vale, and Glaze Cliff. Meanwhile, players who venture into mines below should expect to encounter the Ad-Hoc Main Tunnel, Underground Waterways, and Stony Halls. Now even more details about the Chasm in Genshin Impact have begun making the rounds online.

Crediting hydropyrotechnic and ElYISUS215 with the find, Redditor Little_Kazhua recently shared Achievements for Genshin Impact 2.6 that have yet to officially go live. Nine Achievements in total receive mention, all connected to the forthcoming Chasm locale and the challenges nestled within. One Achievement, \”Chasm Conqueror,\” requires players to light up the Chasm\’s surface map; \”Dangerous Plunge\” will be rewarded to those who light up the map\’s underground portion. Other Achievements ask that users unlock the Chasm entrance, open chests, unlock every Teleport Waypoint, follow the Seelie to his Seelie Courts, and \”Raise the Lumenstone Adjuvant to its maximum level.\” A screenshot of the post from Little_Kazhua features below:

The continued leaks indicate Genshin Impact Version 2.6 is nearly upon us, though HoYoverse has yet to specify release times and the like. But given the game\’s six-week release scheduled for new updates, reason suggests the next batch of content should begin rolling out before this month\’s end. The studio will undoubtedly offer concrete information on this much and more when the Special Program for 2.6 airs tomorrow, March 18, at 8:00 AM UTC -4.

In addition to the Chasm map, Genshin Impact\’s next major update is also expected to come packed with previously unseen events, quests, weapons, and playable characters. Since HoYoverse has yet to detail any of the above, fans continue to speculate about what may sit on the horizon. Fortunately, the need for speculation will soon come to an end.
