Genshin Impact: Engraved Wishes Web Event Guide (Tasks & Rewards)

A new event happing now in Genshin Impact is the Engraved Wishes Web Event. As its name implies, it is accessed by visiting a website, much like the Side By Side We Venture event also taking place right now.

The Engraved Wishes Web Event honors the first anniversary of Genshin Impact, which launched on September 28, 2020. In a year, Genshin Impact has continually added new stories, characters, weapons, locations, puzzles, and even fishing. To celebrate, the event runs from September 7, 2021, to September 28, 2021.

The event comes with prizes for lucky winners and can be found through the Genshin Impact Facebook page. To be eligible for the event, it is required to follow the page anyway, so players should make sure to visit it. Facebook is also how players will be able to receive notifications if they are selected as a winner. Players must also have reached Adventure Rank 20 in the game to have eligibility.

Prizes for the Engraved Wishes Web Event in Genshin Impact

The Genshin Impact Engraved Wishes web event takes place worldwide for players on the following servers: America, Europe, Asia, and TW/HK/MO. All players need to do is visit the Engraved Wishes Event page. They can enter their wish into the text box on the page to be entered into the contest. Anything that players write in the text box must not discriminate against race, gender, religion, ethnicity, politics, region, or contain content aimed at bullying. Also, it cannot contain personal information.

Weirdly enough, the text box only allows for six characters, which is barely enough space to type “Hello!” Players must agree to the terms and conditions by clicking the checkbox below the Send Wish button.

At the conclusion of the event, the wishes are collected, and 100 lucky participants will receive an Amazon gift card valued at $50 USD. Additionally, one participant will be selected to receive a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Console, which is valued at $827 USD. The fortunate winner will have yet another way to play Genshin Impact if they so choose.

In addition to these prizes, 50,000 players will have their wishes engraved into blocks on a giant Paimon block statue, though considering Paimon’s size, it’s currently unknown how big the statue will be. It’s also unknown if the statue is edible in an emergency, though Paimon would probably agree that is unlikely. In any case, those who have their message engraved will receive an electronic certificate of authentication for their block.
