In Genshin Impact, players can now unlock Enkanomiya, a new aquatic region added to Inazuma. Before players will be able to explore the new area, they will need to complete the Genshin Impact Archon Quest \”Chapter 2: Act 3 – Omnipresence Over Mortals,\” as well as the world questline, \”The Moon-bathed Deep,\” which includes the world quest \”The Still Water’s Flow.\” In addition to completing these three Genshin Impact quests, players will need to be at least Adventure Rank 30 before they can attempt to uncover the secrets of Enkanomiya, which is found beneath Inazuma.
Once players have met all the requirements to unlock Enkanomiya, they should travel near Sangonomiya to Genshin Impact\’s Watatsumi Island and speak with Tsuyuko. After interacting with the NPC, players can jump into the swirling pool in the middle of the island. Jumping into this pool will cause a Teleport Waypoint to appear and transport players to Enkanomiya. This teleportation point can also be used to return from Enkanomiya. Geographically, the area has shallow water and is populated with wildlife such as Floating Ray and Deep Sea Unagi.
Once players have found Enkanomiya in Genshin Impact, they will discover the region is still not fully open. Players will need to finish the five-part regional quest, \”From Dusk to Dawn in Byakuyakoku\” before they can fully explore all quests and features of Enkanomiya. Additionally, completing the quest \”A Glimpse into the Pale Night\” will unlock the map for Enkanomiya island in Genshin Impact, while beginning the quest \”Erebos\’ Secret\” will unlock the missing islands and their Waypoints.
Genshin Impact: How To Play in Enkanomiya
While there are plenty of puzzles to complete, Genshin Impact\’s Enkanomiya is also full of cryo enemies, including Cyro Spectres, Rimebiter Bathysmal Vishaps, and Bathysmal Vishap Herds. The enemies will often attempt to freeze the player when they encounter them while exploring. Additionally, players can travel throughout the region by riding schools of Ghostfish or using Phase Gates or Ball-Shaped Mechanisms for longer distances. While Enkanomiya has no Electroculus or Statues of the Seven, it does include some of Genshin Impact\’s Key Sigils, which are used to unlock glowing seals on the walls to uncover treasure chests and rewards.
Once inside Enkanomiya, players will be able to manually change between Whitenight and Evernight, with many features changing depending on which time they have selected. Because Enkanomiya is underwater, the Dainichi Mikoshi Mechanism is used to change between Whitenight, which is simulated daylight, and Evernight, which resembles night. For instance, Sunfire Phantasms are dispelled when players switch to Evernight, and they reveal hidden features. Similarly, the Triangular Mechanism will only work during Evernight, and the Shield-Lights Of Tokoyo will be dispelled each time the player changes the time.
Enkanomiya is home to seven Royal Tombs, which players can explore to find texts that illustrate the region\’s history. Additionally, offering a Sango Pearl at each Royal Tomb will complete the quest \”The Phaethons\’ Syrtos.\” Furthermore, players can find a key to a secret room containing a Luxurious Chest by switching to Evernight and activating three Triangular Mechanisms to uncover a new chest holding a key. From there, players can teleport to the Waypoint South of the Narrows to uncover the hidden room. Once inside, there will be several enemies to defeat and puzzles to solve before players are rewarded with a Luxurious Chest. Players may also come upon Junk Chests, a new type of Genshin Impact chest in Enkanomiya.
