3. The home screen time and music changes based on your device’s time
Upon entering the game, players of Genshin Impact would be greeted by the game’s home screen, featuring an animation before players enter a door and officially play the game. However, a feature rarely noticed by players is the changing of the timing in the game’s home screen.
As shared in a post by Reddit user mw0t, the game’s home screen takes on four different timings – day, noon, night, as well as one which is seemingly the sunrise that appears when players log in between 4 to 5 am. The crossover was announced in Honkai Impact 3rd’s 4.9 update stream, with it released on 9 July 2021. The crossover featured Electro archer Fischl and Electro sword-wielding character Keqing from Genshin Impact, with Fischl getting her very own original story in Honkai.

Believed to be influenced by locations and cultures of Germany, the designs of the cathedral and houses show close similarities to those in certain parts of Germany as well, Monstadt also happens to mean “Moon City” in German.
While continuing on the Liyue, the Chinese-inspired city-state translates to 璃月, which actually means “Glazed Moon” in Chinese, while miHoYo also offers the name of Jade Moon as an alternative. Confirmed in a Facebook post, the developers mentioned that Liyue is closely related to the Chinese city of Sichuan, known for its unforgivingly spicy food.

On 28 September 2021, Geshin Impact celebrated its first anniversary ever since the game’s release back in September of 2020.
