Physical Damage: To capitalize on Keqing’s extremely fast Normal and Charged attacks. Can stand on its own easily.
A 2x Set of Bloodstained Chivalry
The set bonuses of 25% physical damage bonus helps greatly.
And a 2x Set of Gladiator’s Finale
The set bonus of 18% ATK is always nice.
Artifact stats should ideally be:
Goblet: Physical Damage bonus%
Circlet: ATK% or Crit Rate%
And for the weapon, the Aquila Favonia:
The Physical Damage bonus substat is what you’re aiming for, and the ability gives you a flat 20% ATK boost, and even heals you occasionally. If you don’t have it, 4 star weapons such as the Prototype Rancour will also work.
Electro Damage: To focus more on Keqing’s infused skills and bursts, as well as elemental reactions with party members. Doesn’t work as well without help from party members, but does more damage.
A 4x set of Thundering Fury:
The 15% electro damage bonus really helps Keqing’s electro infusion skill and burst. But the real clincher is the 40% damage boost to elemental reactions involving electro, and the corresponding skill CD decrease.
Paired with external sources of elements such as Xingqiu’s rain swords or Barbara’s Let the show begin, to deal continuous electro charged damage, lowering the cooldown on Keqing’s skills by a significant amount.
Ideally, artifact stats should be:
Goblet: Electro damage%
Circlet: Crit rate%
Her weapon should be The Primordial Jade Cutter, for the Crit rate% sub stat and the ATK% boost.
Alternatively, if you don’t have it, then Lion’s roar or The Black Sword are very acceptable alternatives.
Keqing’s highlights are her extremely strong charged attacks. They are very easily spammable against bosses or large enemies.
For the electro build, you should focus on spamming elemental reactions, but particularly electro-charged.
For physical builds, you want to occasional proc superconduct, to lower opponent physical res.
