Yae Miko will get changes in Genshin Impact 2.6 update according to latest leaks

Since her release in the Genshin Impact 2.5 update, Yae Miko has swiftly gathered a fan base of her own. She has already made two appearances in the last two update previews (2.0 and 2.1). According to the recent live stream, she will be the main character that takes us through the second part of Inazuma. Yae Miko, a five-star Electro Catalyst user, was released as the first character on the limited banner for update 2.5. And now, a popular Genshin leaker named Ubatcha1 has said that Yae Miko will receive several changes in the Genshin Impact update 2.6, according to leaks, which might drop on April 2.

What do the Genshin Impact 2.6 Yae Miko leaks say

According to Genshin leaker Ubatcha1, the newest Genshin Impact 2.6 update usually comes out on April 2 per the miHoYo schedule and Yae Miko will receive several changes. He tweeted about this on his Twitter account and posted a gameplay video showing a noticeable change in Yae Niko’s Elemental skill to back his claims.

This means that Yae Miko will have changes with her Elemental Skill, Yakan Evocation: Sesshou Sakura, which lets her dash around the battlefield, dropping Sesshou Sakura totems. The 2.6 update is rumored to bring changes to Yae’s targeting system in the Sesshou Sakura, which usually picks out a nearby enemy randomly and picks the closest enemy specifically. This will allow Yae Miko’s DPS rotation to be more consistent since players will control the target selection by a certain degree.

The leak has sparked a wave of mixed reactions among Genshin Impact fans. Some believe that the new changes will improve the gameplay. At the same time, some allege that this change will hinder Miko’s Electro application, fearing it may nerf her ability to spread the Electro element amongst different targets.
