Genshin Impact Character Leaks: Ayato's Talents, Constellations, & More

Kamisato Ayato was officially revealed by HoYoverse (formerly known as miHoYo) before the official release of Genshin Impact\’s Version 2.5 update, which caused many fans of the free-to-play RPG to express immense joy as Ayato was one of the most anticipated characters in the game. As the Version 2.6 closed beta went live, leaks of Kamisato Ayato\’s Talents, Constellations, and gameplay were prevalent online. As players eagerly wait for his release, here are all the known leaks about Ayato.

Kamisato Ayato is the elder brother of Kamisato Ayaka in Genshin Impact and is the official head of the Yashiro Commission\’s Kamisato Clan of Inazuma. Like his younger sister, Ayato is a kind-hearted individual who greatly cares for the people of Inazuma. Despite his noble appearance, Kamisato Ayato has been said to be mischievous by other characters, even displaying a childish side by engaging in beetle fights with Arataki Itto.

Kamisato Ayato wields a Hydro Vision and uses a sword in battle. He will be used primarily as a DPS character in the game due to most of his abilities revolving around his Normal attacks. Both Ayato\’s Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst are strong Hydro enablers allowing players to utilize powerful Elemental Reactions in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact: Ayato\’s Ascension & Talent Materials

Players wishing to increase Kamisato Ayato\’s level and stats will need to farm several materials within Inazuma. To ascend Ayato, the Dew of Repudiation is required and can be obtained by defeating the Hydro Hypostases. The Varunada Lazurite materials are also needed for ascension and can be farmed from the Hydro Hypostases or Oceanids. The Sakura Bloom and Handguards can be acquired in Genshin Impact\’s open world.

To increase Kamisato Ayato\’s Talents, gamers will need to farm the Elegance materials. For Talent levels beyond level 6, the Mudra of the Malefic General is needed and can only be obtained by clearing the Raiden Shogun boss battle in Genshin Impact, which refreshes once a week. Players preparing for Ayato should consider farming for Moras because several million is required in order to max his stats.

Genshin Impact: Kamisato Ayato\’s Talents Explained

Kamisato Art – Marobashi is Ayato\’s Normal Attack, which involves 5 rapid strikes with his sword. Like all characters, he has a Charged attack that consumes stamina when used and a Plunge attack. His Elemental Skill, called Kamisato Art: Kyouka, puts Ayato into a Takimeguri state where he leaves an illusion behind, which will explode when enemies are within range or when the Talent duration ends. While in the Takimeguri state, Ayato will use a technique called the Shunsuiken, shifting all attacks to Normal attacks and striking enemies with immense speed.

All of Ayato\’s attacks will be converted to Hydro damage making him and Xingqiu the only Hydro sword users in Genshin Impact. Whenever Ayato\’s attack hits an enemy, he will be granted a Namisen effect that will further increase his Shunsuiken damage based on Ayato\’s Max HP. Players can only have a max of 4 Namisen stacks and the effects of the buff will disappear when Ayato\’s Takimeguri state ends.

Ayato\’s Elemental Burst, known as Kamisato Art: Suiyuu, will have him create a garden where rain will consistently fall within the area. Enemies hit with the rain will take Hydro damage and have the water element infused. The Talent will further increase the active character\’s Normal attacks synergizing well with Ayato\’s Elemental Skill. His Elemental Burst is great for elemental reactions being very similar to Ganyu\’s Elemental Burst in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact: Ayato\’s Passive Talents & Constellations

Ayato\’s Kamisato Art: Mine Wo Matoshi Kiyotaki is a passive Talent that grants him 2 Namisen stacks after using his Elemental Skill. The ability will also offer the maximum amount of Namisen stacks when the water illusion from his Kyouka skill explodes. His Kamisato Art: Michiyuku Hagetsu will regenerate 2 Energy for every second Ayato is not on-field as long as his Energy is less than 40. Ayato\’s world passive skill, called Kamisato Art: Daily Cooking, will give players an 18% chance of receiving an additional \”Suspicious\” dish when using him to cook food in Genshin Impact.

Anyone wanting to improve Kamisato Ayato\’s abilities further should consider unlocking higher Constellation levels in Genshin Impact. At Constellation 1, Kyouka Fuushi will increase Ayato\’s Shunsuiken damage by 40% when battling against enemies with 50% or less HP. At level two, World Source raises Kamisato Ayato\’s maximum Namisen stacks from 4 to 5 and will increase his Max HP by 50% whenever 3 Namisen stacks are obtained. To Admire the Flowers is Ayato\’s 3rd Constellation level and will increase his Elemental Skill Kamisato Art: Kyouba level by 3.

Players who have Ayato at Constellation level 4 will have access to his Endless Flow ability, which increases all party\’s Normal attack speed by 15% for 15 seconds. This skill in particular goes well with his Elemental Skill, allowing Ayato to strike faster and deal significantly more damage within a shorter time frame. Yun Jin in Genshin Impact can be a great ally for Kamisato Ayato because she has the ability to buff Normal attacks offering a massive boost to his damage. At Constellation level 5, Bansui Ichiro will increase Kamisato Ayato\’s Elemental Burst level by 3. Gamers willing to obtain his final Constellation will obtain the Boundless Origin skill. Whenever Ayato uses his Elemental Skill, his Shunsuiken attack will generate 2 additional strikes when hitting enemies, each blow dealing 300% of Ayato\’s ATK as damage.
