Version 2.6 of Genshin Impact brought a new region, The Chasm, which has introduced new enemies, landscapes, and new artifacts. The artifacts will be accessible to players through the new domain, Fuao Vale, also known as the Lost Valley domain. Our step-to-step guide will help you unlock the Lost valley domain in Genshin Impact.
Though not hidden below the chasm area, the Lost Valley domain is still hard to locate. Even after finding the location, players need to solve a puzzle before finding their way into the mysterious area. To access the Chasm, players need to be Adventure rank 22 or higher and complete the archon quest Prologue: Act 3- Song of the Dragon and Freedom.
Lost Valley Domain Locations in Genshin Impact
Before starting their journey towards the domain, it is recommended players unlock the Statue of the Seven so that the complete map of the Chasm is visible. Head to the domain marker near Fuao Vale with at least one geo character capable of placing geo constructs like Geo MC or Ningguang.
Players can approach the location from either the Statue of the seven or the teleport waypoint, the surface. On reaching the location, activate the pressure plate by placing a geo construct on top of it and head south towards the big rock with waves swirling around. Cast the geo construct on the big rock to make it resonate and activate shockwaves revealing an earlier concealed path to the domain. Opening the path to the cave will also unlock the achievement of The Lost Valley.
Lost Valley Domain Artifacts: Is it worth farming
The two artifacts are geared towards specific characters meaning that it is worth farming for some specific characters, but if players don’t have these characters, it is not worth spending precious resin and time. The following two Artifact sets are available for farming :
1. Vermillion Hereafter
A two-piece set increases Attack Power by 18%. After using an Elemental Burst, a four-piece set grants the Nascent Light effect, increasing Attack by 8% for 16 seconds. When the wearer’s HP decreases, Attack Power will increase by another 10%. This effect can trigger up to four times and no more than once per 0.8 seconds.
Xiao best uses the set as not only does the 2 pc set increase his normal Attack, but the 4 pc amplifies his damage potential as he starts losing his HP. The set, though, is very good for Xiao. It is viable to make multiple runs on this domain if they don’t already have good artifacts.
2. Echoes of an Offering
The two-piece set increases Attack by 18%. When hitting an opponent, the four-piece set offers a 36% chance to trigger Valley Rite, which increases Normal Attack damage by 70% of the character’s Attack. The 4 pc artifact set is the best slot for Kamisato Ayato and is viable for Yoimiya, Razor, and Tartaglia.
