Spiderman fan reimagines Genshin Impact's Zhongli swinging across New York

A video is making rounds on Twitter of a new mod for the PC release of the new Spiderman game. In this mod, the players can substitute the model of Spiderman for the Geo Archon from the famous game Genshin Impact, Zhongli. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is one of the first PC port releases from the former PlayStation Exclusives. It is developed by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel and optimized for PC by Nixxes Software.

In a tweet by the user @cybertron231, they showed a video of the new Spiderman game mod wherein the player is swinging around buildings with old man Zhongli as their model character. Other Genshin Impact fans are delighted and the video even reached 649.1K views and more than 50k likes.

Fans even said that Zhongli being spiderman is weirdly fitting and even edited the video with Zhongli’s lines about power and responsibility which is the main moral guide also of Spiderman.

Creator also reimagined Dainsleif, the former captain of the Khaenri’ah swinging across the city

Fans loved the Zhongli Spiderman x Genshin Impact mod that the original creator @cybertron231 even created a part two wherein the model is Dainsleif, the former captain of the Khaenri’ah who is also from Genshin Impact. Seeing these is a reflection of how the communities of both Genshin Impact fans and Spiderman fans are alike.

Modding has been a huge part of the PC gaming communities. And seeing PlayStation exclusive being ported into PC, modders and mod enthusiasts go ham into creating so many mods. In this particular example, the new Spiderman game has already been hugely modded.

This is a testimony to the huge potential of PC gaming that Sony is now exploring into. With communities like this, it is very amusing to think of how much more creative can fans get into creating new mods for games that will soon be ported to PC.
